The Airplane Factory Renews Membership

THE AIRPLANE FACTORY, in the U.S.A. under the direction of Matt Liknaitsky, has renewed the company membership in LAMA! Matt and his team, based in Torrance, California, are the exclusive North American distributors for the Sling.

In 2009, company founder Mike Blyth and business partner James Pitman (both from South Africa), completed the first total circumnavigation of the the planet by a Light-Sport Aircraft. You can read about this flight, as well as other expeditions, on The Airplane Factory website. Matt, also originally from South Africa, says “Every day that I fly I feel like the luckiest person alive.”
