Thank you, Midwest LSA Expo!

Mt. Vernon Outland Airport, located in southern Illinois, began life as a small, 60-acre grass landing field, and now has grown into the modern, 6500-foot-runway airport that it is today. A lot of famous people have landed at the airport over the years; check out their website to see a list!

Led by Chris Collins, the airport has, for 12 years now, put on one of the best shows for Sport Pilots with their Midwest LSA Expo. The show is scheduled to be held in September, with Covid-19 precautions in place, and you can get the details here. A great airport, with a friendly team running the show, makes this one of the most fun to attend in any year!
