LAMA Welcomes New Members: Swan and Lift

LAMA is pleased to welcome two new members to our organization!

AVI SRL, based in Craiova, Romania, produces the Swan Ultralights. These good-looking aircraft comply with the Ultralight/Microlight standards for England, Germany, and Part 103 in the USA. Radu Berceanu has displayed for several years at Aero in Friedrichshafen, and hopes to now come to the USA and display the Swan at Sun ‘n Fun 2020. You can read more about the Swan here.

LIFT AIRCRAFT is based in Austin, Texas, and produces Hexa, an eVTOL multicopter. This electric vehicle qualifies under Part 103 and comes complete with 18 independent motors and a ballistic parachute. Founder Matt Chasen describes himself as a “serial entrepreneur” and is looking towards a future where everyone can fly. You can learn more about Hexa here.
