Two LAMA Board Members Join Organization

Two highly qualified leaders in light aviation joined the LAMA board in recent months.

Scott Severen bust (BoD)Please welcome North American Jabiru aircraft representative, Scott Severen. Scott has many years of experience in light aviation with a variety of roles (see his extensive history here). Scott is actually reprising a role he had back in the 1990s when he served for a time as president of LAMA. His work on various association supporting light aviation is one of very deep experience and LAMA is pleased and proud to welcome Scott as a new board member.

Marc-Becker-RotaxEven more recently, Marc Becker was elected unanimously by the current LAMA board of directors. Marc is sales manager for the aircraft engine business of BRP-Rotax, the builder of some 80% of all engines for the Light-Sport Aircraft and light aircraft community around the world. His travels take him all around the globe in support of Rotax’s business. His university degree as an aerospace engineer combine with extensive experience and LAMA is exceptionally pleased to have Marc join the board.
